The Project Discovery program was established at Skyline CAP in 1997. Project Discovery's goal is to help youth from low-income families, especially those who are the first generation to go to college, succeed in high school and set their sights on higher education.

Skyline CAP’s Project Discovery Program is offered to 9th– 12th graders and operates in partnership with Madison County High School. Serving economically disadvantaged, potential first generation post-secondary education attendees, the program is designed to promote education as a means to ending the cycle of poverty for our current and future generations of students. The mission of Project Discovery is to increase access to and prepare students for success in post-secondary education.
