With funding from the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Skyline CAP has hired an Energy Efficiency Specialist to work with clients to reduce their utility bills in order to make their total housing costs more affordable. Consultation services include general utility-saving measures for every home as well as a discission of specific ways to reduce cost for each family and housing unit. The Energy-Efficiency Program is available to both renters and homeowners. Service can be provided in one of three ways:
- In-Office consultation and review of utility-saving measures.
- In-Home inspection and recommendations.
- Group training class.
